About Us
We met over 11 years ago when we were at Balerno High School in Edinburgh and have been a huge part of each others lives ever since. After four years of travelling between Edinburgh and Glasgow while Simon was at university we moved into our city center flat in August 2007. A year and a bit later, while on an amazing trip to Thailand, Simon proposed to Amy. We were wandering along the beach after having dinner and looking for a place to have a cocktail. Out of the blue (well to Amy anyway!) Simon got down on one knee and popped the question - Amy said yes straight away, without even seeing the ring properly as it was dark!
The Wedding
We're getting married and holding the reception at The Houstoun House Hotel. For more information about the hotel and accommodation have a look at the accommodation page. It's pretty easy to get to, whether you're flying from miles away or just making the trip from Edinburgh, have a look at the getting there page for a directions, trains, planes, and taxis!.
RSVP
You can RSVP online, it's really easy - just fill in the form and that's it done! RSVP now!. We also have details of our wedding gift list online too.
The night before the wedding
We know that a lot of our guests are staying at Houstoun House the night before the wedding so there will be a group of us going for dinner at a local restaurant (tbd). If you would like to come, please let us know when you RSVP, or send Amy a quick email and we will include you in the numbers.
